Kat from Corpirate is heading to VEGAS!! We loved having her here at Cactus Creek’s Store in Weston, MO a couple of weeks ago and now she’s headed back west to Fabulous Las Vegas…

If you are so lucky to be in Las Vegas this Friday, August 21st, 2009 then head over to the Donald J. Pliner store at the The Shops at Ceasars Forum from 5pm till 8pm. They will be showcasing the Fall 2009 Collection from designer Donald J. Pliner, plus Kat’s Corpirate jewelry. There will also be over 20 different wines from Vino 100. Sounds like fun, huh?? A few weeks ago OutWest Marketing opened a brand new store on the Western Walk of Stars in Old Town Newhall {in the heart of Santa Clarita, just North of Los Angeles}.

HOWDY Calgary… Look for Sculpture Artist Craig Bergsgaard at the Calgary Stampede!!

Beginning tomorrow, July 3rd, 2009, the Calgary Stampede will take place over the next 10 days in Alberta, Canada. The annual event is committed to preserving and promoting western heritage and values through their stampedes, concerts, Ag displays and their Fine Arts display, the Western Showcase.

It is at the Western Showcase that Craig Bergsgaard will have a temporary studio and will share his sculptures with visitors from around the world. This year Craig has something special for the Calgary Stampede…

‘Every year at the Calgary Stampede Rodeo, daring cowboys risk their necks to prevail over horses in their wildest state. Craig Bergsgard has created a special sculpture, Good Day Gone Bad, to commemorate these brave and crazy men.

This sculpture will only be available for sale until the end of the Stampede on July 13, 2009. After that, the mold will be retired forever.

Good Day depicts a wrangler and mustang struggling in the perennial battle between man and beast. Notice how the horse is staring the cowboy right in the eye with complete defiance. If you have ever seen this look you will remember it!’

The Western Showcase will feature hundreds exhibitors showcasing art, entertainment, presentations and exhibitions that depict the Western Lifestyle. This is a major part of the Calgary Stampede and not to be missed.

HOWDY Denver… Look for Old Territorial Indian Arts at the Cody Old West Show and Auction

Old Territorial Indian Shop is going on the road this weekend all the way to Denver, Colorado and the 20th Annual Cody Old West Show and Auction.

Antique and contemporary Cowboy, western and Indian arts and artifacts, fine western art, western design for home and ranch. Over 200 well known dealers. Auction will feature some personal items from the estate of Annie Oakley!! **WOW**

This year the Cody Old West Show and Auction is moving to the Denver Merchandise Mart… Be sure to check it out this weekend,

HOWDY KC… Don’t miss Kelly Buntin-Johnson at Missouri Bluffs this Sunday!!

Once again the first Sunday of the month afternoon will find Kelly Buntin Johnson at Missouri Bluffs, clothing boutique, in Weston, MO with another collection of new necklaces.

HOWDY Colorado… Craig Bergsgaard’s Coolin’ the Dogs Sculpture to be unveiled.

If you’re not spending Friday boot scootin’ at the Wild Wild West Fest in Pueblo, CO this weekend then head North to Castle Rock, CO where Craig Bergsgaard’s Coolin’ the Dogs Sculpture will be unveiled.

This Friday May 15th, at 4pm, join the Castle Rock Public Art Commission as they celebrate the unveiling of a new public art piece at Fifth and Gilbert streets, “Coolin’ the Dogs” — a life-sized bronze sculpture of a cowboy and his horse by artist Craig Bergsgaard.

Bergsgaard will be present at the unveiling, and members of the Art Commission and Castle Rock Town Council will give remarks. This new work of public art is made possible thanks to the generous support of the Castle Rock Chamber of Commerce, Douglas County Libraries Foundation, Black Hills Energy and Town of Castle Rock.
