Round Top (Spring 08) Day 1: Hot Tamale Antiques
Jan Orr-Harter, owner of Hot Tamale Antiques, brought one of my favorite collections of vintage goodies to Marburger Farm. Every time I walked through the vivid assembly of vintage art, hooked rugs, colorful textiles and classic cowboy collectibles I was surprised by the clever assortment. Jan offers her Hot Tamale Antiques in shows across the USA and also in her store in Aledo, Texas (15 minutes West of Ft. Worth - call for Directions & Hours). Definitely worthy of a Road Trip!! Till then check out Jan’s collection at HotTamaleAntiques.com.

Thanks for the plug! Marburger Farm Antique Show is the best show anywhere. (www.roundtop-marburger.com) As I work in my booth there, I envy the shoppers and long to be a civilian at Marburger Farm! For those in North Texas, we have a special event at Hot Tamale Antiques on Sat. May 31, 11am-2pm. An old-fashioned Garden Party, BBQ, the Clear Fork Jazz (worth the trip), pony rides, festive lunch, book sale, a fundraiser for our local library and 20% off storewide. Email me if you would like an invitation. Jan Orr-Harter, Hot Tamale Antiques, Aledo, TX JanOH4@aol.com
