Barn Light Electric Company
When I was choosing light fixtures for the Cactus Creek Design Studio I wanted to make sure that they represented Cactus Creek’s RUSTIC * WESTERN * VINTAGE vibe perfectly. When I came across the Barn Light Electric Company I knew that I had hit the jackpot!! Rustic styling, clean lines, and rich colors made these lights perfect for the Studio space.

As the trend for modern rusticity grows home builders and business owners alike are looking for a lighting option that looks like it could fit in anywhere, from a country barn to an urban loft. The Barn Light Electric Company meets these requisites in every way. They also offer an enormous selection with everything from small sconces to large overhead lights, barn chandeliers, fans and commercial lighting as well.

Many of the lights available from the Barn Light Company are exclusive designs from the co-owner, Bryan who has a story of a true American Dream…
…Simply put, it was the passion for a part time hobby that turned into a full time successful business. Bryan Scott, Co-owner and founder launched this business in his backyard barn in 2001. With his passion for antique light fixtures, Bryan would search through antique stores, estate sales, abandoned buildings and garage sales looking for vintage lights he could restore.
Bryan mostly enjoyed restoring American made barn lighting because of the high quality that was used to manufacturer these vintage light fixtures. But as the past faded away, vintage barn lighting also faded away. So Bryan decided to make his own American Made barn lighting. Just like the vintage barn light fixtures Bryan had restored, he wanted his new barn lighting to be manufactured the old fashion way:
1. Must be American made.
2. Must use only high quality & commercial grade materials.
3. Must represent original barn lighting styles.
Soon the demand for Bryan’s high quality American Made barn lighting exceeded the resources within his small barn. Unable to keep up with the demand, Bryan began looking for help. Through his extensive research of the lighting industry, he found a true American Manufacturer who could manufacture barn lighting with the same high standards he himself had set.
My absolute selling point with the Barn Light Electric Company was their selection of COLORS. Any of the lights can be manufactured in over a dozen colors, aluminum, brass or with a copper finish. For the studio I chose the Outback Pendant {ABOVE} in a Rust Colored finish and the guard over the light bulb is aluminum color. They are PERFECT. Thanks, Bryan!!
