Howdy MASSACHUSETTS… It’s a great week to be in MA!!
Just a note to let you know about a couple of fabulous shopping opportunities this week - both taking place in Massachusetts.
First is the NANTUCKET FOLK ART & ARTISAN SHOW taking place, obviously, on Nantucket Island. This is a juried show featuring over fifty artists and artisans from across the country and this year one of Cactus Creek’s faves will be there - VINTAGE SCULPTURE. Four hours and a Ferry Ride West of Nantucket is Brimfield. Dubbed the Queen of Outdoor shows, the Brimfield Antique & Collectibles Show/Flea Market, has been around for 50 years, and fires up again this week.
‘The Brimfield Antiques Show is the largest outdoor antiques show in the world, with over 5,000 dealers and 130,000+ visitors during the course of the week. While it is convenient to refer to it as “The Show”, it is actually comprised of 23 fields, owned by “Promoters”, who lease spaces to dealers from all over the world. The Show takes place three times a year, usually around Memorial Day, July 4th and Labor Day.’
