JIMT Idea: Glass Jars
Earlier this week I was having a conversation with the boys from Junk in my Trunk Radio Show and we got to talking about JARS. We talked about how our grandparents used to save and wash their jars to re-use for dinner scraps, about how our parents used the same jars in their garages to store nails and screws. We talked about how, as young adults, we became horribly nonchalant and just threw jars away without re~cycling or re~using them {shameful, shameful behavior} ~ but finally we have embraced the concept of Re~LOVING and we now recycle our glass jars, or, better yet, re-use them like this…

oh no!
I love jars. I hate throwing out a jar (but I do recycle).
I also have issues with boxes, so please don’t do an article on that. LOL.
PS – I got your msg about the photos, and I had been thinking the same thing! I’m going to work on it, and then I’ll give you a call!

Please don’t forget the obvious…..canning SALSA in jars. The summer ritual of canning red orbs for winter time meals.
