My Saddle Guy’s Western Collections
Earlier this week I had the opportunity to visit my “Saddle Guy“. For years he has been my go-to guy whenever I needed something special – a Vintage Saddle, Rawhide Lamp Shades, hand-made Western mirrors, Saddle Bar Stools… he has a basement full of fabulous collections and most of it is for sale.
This week my visit was centered on taking photos of his collection of Western China {more on that in BLOGS to come}. Despite time constraints I poked my head into the basement and was blown away, as usual, at the Western artifacts that awaited me.
Armed with my camera I took some pictures to share. Give me a holler HERE if you are interested in any of these beauties and I can share my “Saddle Guy’s” name and phone number {no email addresses or websites for this ol’ cowboy and I’m a little uneasy about posting his digits}.
I’ll be back over there soon – next week we are going to do some good old fashioned TRADING. He will get some of my new cowhides in exchange for 1950’s Cowboy Bookmarks {they are fabulous and will be available when I set up at Tablescapes in September}. I can hardly wait to see what he comes up with before then…
Next week will be busy in our house {#1 is turning 5 years old!!}, but I will do my best to get a few BLOGS posted. Thank you for reading the BLOGS and for staying tuned to CactusCreekDaily.com.
