Most of the trees used are picked up after power line crews clear room for the lines or from farmers who are clearing their pastures. Sassafras is a very quick growing tree in the Ozarks and is considered just a big weed by farmers. This is good for us as it’s a neat way to make furniture with out having to cut down forest and destroy habitat.”
